The holiday season is the perfect time to get creative and bring some festive cheer into your art. Whether you're a seasoned designer or just starting out, this class will guide you through each step to create stunning, festive patterns that are perfect for holiday projects.

What You'll Learn in the class:
In this class, we will cover a range of techniques and skills to help you create your own Christmas floral pattern:
Drawing loose flowers: Learn to draw flowers with acryllic brushes in Procreate.
Adding subtle texture: Add both texture to your separate motifs as well as overall acryllic texture to your pattern.
Balancing your pattern: Arrange your floral elements to create a balanced and visually appealing pattern.
Creating Seamless Patterns: Transform your artwork into a seamless repeating pattern, perfect for wrapping paper, greeting cards, and more.
Free Downloads:
To help you get started, the class includes several free downloads. You’ll get 3 Procreate brushes and 1 color palette, exclusively available for Pattern Rebels members. These resources are designed to help you achieve the perfect acrylic Christmas floral pattern. All free for both personal & commercial use.
There’s also a Christmas Gift Procreate mockup, available as a download in this months Goodie Bag for our members.
And a Brick pattern layout template including a mini-course on how to use the template, also for our members. Read more about the pattern layout template here.

Step-by-Step Mini Tutorial:
Step 1: Set up your canvas
Open Procreate and set your canvas size (3000px in width and height is a great starting point). (And I start with the Pattern Perfect Template, which is free for Pattern Rebel members).
Step 2: Draw your motifs
Use the Painterly Gouache brush to draw and fill in your floral motifs.
Step 4: Create the Pattern
Flip the edges of your pattern tile to the center and fill any empty spaces.
Step 5: Add overall texture
Use the Watercolor Magic Texture Wet brush to add overall texture on a separate layer on top of your motifs.
Add a blend mode to the texture layer.
Step 6: Test the Pattern:
Copy you canvas + paste it so that you’ll get a flattened image of your pattern tile.
Test your pattern tile in my free Pattern Tester here on my website.
P.S. This mini tutorial gives you a taste of the full class, where we'll dive deeper into each step and explore more advanced techniques.
